Central 1, based in Vancouver, Canada, provides wholesale financial products, trust services, payment processing solutions and digital banking services to about 300 credit unions and institutional clients across Canada. In addition, Central 1 is the primary liquidity manager, payments provider and trade association for 42 member credit unions in B.C. along with 70 Ontario member credit unions. These members represent a consumer-oriented, full-service retail financial network that collectively serves 3.3 million members and holds more than $118.8 billion in assets.
PointOne and Central1 embarked on a multi-year journey to reimagine their public, marketing site platform with a true “drag and drop” site builder tool for any of Central 1’s credit unions to build their own public website, within a best practice design framework. Partnering with Central1 and Backbase, we created a holistic user experience design system that is flexible based on institution size, brand, and range of product offerings.
